[About Lou]
There can't be many songwriters who can draw inspiration from their
love of 'The Sound of Music', the legend of bluesman Robert Johnson,
and a childhood listening to Peter, Paul and Mary records, but Lou
Brown does just that. These and many more influences are combined in
an unique and personal blend of folk, country, and pop that is gaining
her fans across the globe.
"She held the audience captivated... with her beautiful songs"
- Maverick magazine
"You won't hear better songs than those anywhere this year."
- Clive Gregson
"Good songs, great lyrics." - Steve Tilston
"There are a lot of musicians around, many of them perfectly competent,
but once in a great while you stumble onto someone with that spark of
something extra, something beyond the ordinary, far beyond
expectations -Lou [has] that spark in spades."
Gayla Drake Paul, Editor, Premier Guitar magazine
